I like the shadows from the the Illumination Festival on the wall and then the staircase.
They have great gardens growing up the wall there.

A delightful set of shots, LC. The history and tradition is beautiful to see – the lanes and plazas give a sense of sanctuary from the outside world. I love that vertical garden with its cascading wall of green!
Been in Italy myself in 2008, loved it, visited three regions: Tuscany, Trento and Tirol
