Ha, love your whimsical images LC. I must be way behind the times, because I don’t know what a wenlock is, or what it does, or what it eats, or what planet it is from. But I sure like your pictures :^)

I didn’t realise Wenlock had so many different coats. My first thought when I saw the one entitled Trafalgar Lion was – The Sphinx and the pyramids, especially as it is dessert coloured…
I love these characters! I hope they are able to stay up after the Olympics. There are similar ideas here in the U.S. Pelicans in Pensacola, Florida and dolphins in Virginia Beach, Virginia – just to name some. I think they add flare to the area and give people another reason to explore the city and take lots of photos. Great post!
Wow, they’re a strange but interesting bunch, the wenlocks, aren’t they? Can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen them.
